Transforming the human spirit

through the art of dance and movement.

My life’s work is in the arena od dance, healing and the intersection of body and spirit. I’m a Dancer, Holistic Health Practitioner, and Spiritual Writer. My writing explores the intersections between the human form and the soul; and the possibility of transformation by holding the tension between lived reality, embodied movement practices, and the imagination. Over time what has emerged for me are common threads in my life that reflect the interconnection between the mind, body, soul, and the cosmos.

I’m currently teaching private and small group classes for people interested in exploring their personal and spiritual growth through integrative practices that may include: somatic techniques, embodied prayer, self-care healing modalities and meditation. These sessions are tailored to the specific needs of the individual if done privately. Contact : 910.995-4754 for details or fill out the contact form on the website. THANK YOU!

After dancing professionally in Canada and throughout the United States I began my teaching career at BalletMet Columbus which evolved into numerous opportunities at Baltimore School for the Arts, as well as teaching in various Artists-in-Schools programs, private dance studios in the Midwest and Southeast, and operating my own dance school, Choreographic Institute of North Carolina. I’m passionate about the sacrality of the human form and exploring ways to enhance wholeness and well-being through movement. I’ve expanded my dance teaching skills for my current “calling” to include study to the healing arts, kinesiology, somatic and proprioceptive techniques to support those seeking to enhance their personal and spiritual growth. I specifically work privately or with small groups.
